ONLINE OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT ORDERING (PREFERRED)
The UW-Whitewater Registrar's Office has partnered with Credentials, Inc. to provide a preferred, fast and secure on-line transcript order service that is available virtually 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The on-line service provides the student with notifications about the transcript order and its status.
$7.00 per copy for regular service
(Transcript is processed 1-3 business days after authorized order has been received)
$10.00 per copy for rush service
(Transcript is processed same day if authorized order is received by 1:00pm CST)
In addition to the regular and rush services mentioned above, students may request an optional service to have their transcript faxed to another location. There is an extra charge of $5.00 for each faxed transcript. Please note that many institutions do NOT consider a fax copy an official transcript.
As of January 15th, 2013, Credentials Solutions will be implementing rate increases for all FedEx Express shipping options. New rates on Standard Overnight service will be as follows:
Domestic Federal Express to main 48 states: $18.00
Domestic Federal Express to Alaska or Hawaii: $21.00
International Federal Express: $41.00
Payment must be made by valid credit or debit card (American Express, Visa, MasterCard or Discover) or, if the on-line transcript order is placed by the student while s/he is in-person at the Registrar's Office, payment can be made directly to the Registrar's Office with cash, check, credit/debit card (MasterCard or Visa only), or UW-Whitewater Purple Points.
The Registrar's Office requires authorization before the student's on-line transcript order can be processed. Automatic authorization will be done if the student's transcript order meets all four of the following conditions:
- The student's records are stored in electronic form (i.e., the student was enrolled for classes at UW-Whitewater in one or more terms from Fall 1979 to present);
- The name on the student's transcript order matches his/her name as it appears on Registrar's Office electronic records;
- Both the Date of Birth and 7 digit ID number or social security number entered on the transcript order match what is in the student's Registrar's Office electronic records; and
- There are no attachments that need to be included with the transcript.
If automatic authorization cannot be done, an authorization form will be emailed to the student that s/he will need to print, complete and return as indicated on the form.
NOTE: IF YOU NEED YOUR TRANSCRIPT TO LIST A DEGREE EARNED DECEMBER OF 2014, BE SURE TO SELECT THE OPTION(S) TO HOLD FOR DEGREE.
